· Coordinated Teacher Training in Music Education programs for six

Pennsylvania and West Virginia universities


· Served as Chair of the Music department of North Allegheny School 1981-82


District; developed budget, designed and implemented in-service teacher

training programs.


· Assisted in the design and implementation of a gifted education program

at North Allegheny


· Coordinated a Composer-In-Residence Program for North Allegheny School

District 1987-88


· Served on committees that wrote the national standards in music

education, created the national assessment in music education, developed

the outcomes-based model curriculum for music education for the

Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, the PA State Arts Assessment

outcomes-based model curriculum for music education for the Pennsylvania

· Designed and presented in-service training sessions for music faculties

in various school districts in music education and technology in music



· Consulted, developed, produced and presented seminars in: Music

· Developed a web page for the North Allegheny Music Department and served

as its "curator" 1997-2001
